About My Kids &/or PetsOne smart, spunky black lab--Hershey, Dark Chocolate! Who said pets are like their masters?
About My Career & HobbiesAs most must know by now, I left MV in 2001. I went off to Hershey, PA to
teach at a private school for under-privileged
children. At Milton Hershey School,
I earned my National Board Certification--one of 120 teachers in PA.
Currently, I am working at Temple U. for my doctorate in educational administration. At the end of this school year, I will be leaving MHS, for worlds unknown. At the end of July I will be finished with my classwork, and will prepare to write my dissertation. Additionally, I have turned my home in Jackson into a bed and breakfast, where I entertain guests on weekends and during the summer.
What Did I Do Directly After HS Graduation?Well, after the great Class of 1994 left MV,
I spent the summer going from graduation
party to graduation party, eating potato salad in every township in the district. And they were all good.
After recovering from heat-stroke on your
graduation night, I returned to MV in the Fall of 1994 to meet another wonderful class--the Class of 2000. For six more glorious years I taught at the greatest school in NEPA, reading Anthem, Hamlet, Flowers for Algernon and Wuthering Heights
and one year realizing it was time to move on from my beloved alma mater.
Most Memorable Mountain View MomentI have so many! But with the Class of '94
it would include Dan and Jason's Spanish, Phantom of the Opera, Florida,
Class Night, Jr. Car Wash, and every day I got to know each of you!
Most Memorable Post HS MomentStaying touch with many of you
over the years--I am proud of everyone
of you! Your successes and happiness in
life makes my profession all worthwhile.
I would not have changed anything.
